Donate to the SocialOffset Campaign
AAS has partnered with SocialOffset to offer meeting attendees the opportunity to contribute to local organizations in the Anchorage Alaska area that make a positive difference in people’s lives and the local community.
We invite you to use this campaign to take meaningful action and offset any internal conflict you may have about tax spending in the destination that doesn’t align with your values by supporting local charities that do.
We worked with SocialOffset to select vetted charities that support reproductive freedom, LGBTQ+ equality, racial justice, environmental sustainability, and housing security in the Anchorage Alaska area.
Reproductive Freedom – Choices Inc
Recognizes that physical needs are crucial to rehabilitation and lifelong well being, the Organization’s mission is to help individuals towards wellness and recovery by encouraging individual choice and ownership.

Racial Justice – Alaska Native Justice Center Inc
Promote justice through culturally-based advocacy, prevention, and intervention initiatives to restore dignity, respect, and humanity to Alaska natives.

Select a local charity that is aligned with your values:
When you travel, every purchase you make generates tax revenue for a state government. That revenue may contribute to governmental policies that don't align with your values. Giving to a local charity working towards the equity goals you care about can help balance the scale. Every dollar counts, please give what you can.
How much should you give ?
